Expanding Vocabulary within a Prompt

During Step 2 of creating a prompt, you have the option of adding concepts and vocabulary that will then be highlighted for you in student submissions. The vocabulary that you have selected, or that was created for you if you are using a prompt from the library, can also be expanded to include other related words and synonyms. To activate this feature, select 'EXPAND VOCABULARY' after you have added all the concepts and supporting vocabulary words you wish to highlight.

Note the vocabulary words added, and delete any you do not wish to include by clicking on the 'x' next to the word. When done reviewing the expanded vocabulary, continue developing your prompt by selecting 'LAST STEP'If a student uses any of these words, they will be highlighted for you during the grading process.
